An authoritarian educational style supports a strong learning environment. Students can count on teachers to be confident and involved. Teachers take the time to explain concepts, students are challenged to think for themselves, and all students are encouraged to consider ideas for themselves. In contrast authoritarian educators are marked by their strong sense of discipline and low involvement resulting in reduced learning.
